‘FXHair’ has three converting functions such as, ‘From Maya Hair’, ‘Create Maya Hair From FXHair’, ‘Create Maya Hair From Curves’, so it corresponds to most of workflows.
2. Create FXHair From Maya Hair
Create FXHair From Maya Hair. This is useful when you are working on the simulation with completed styling or look development etc hair on a character.
In this case, rendering starts straight after the simulation.

Select the pfxHair node which will be converted to FXHair >> Convert >> Create FXHair From Maya Hair
3. Create Maya Hair From FXHair
If you only have the styled curves and the base object, first create FXHair then convert Maya Hair from FXHair.
In this case, look development process can be done after the simulation setting.
Select the base object and the hrSimulator node >> Convert >> Create Maya Hair From FXHair.

4. Create Maya Hair From Curves
Create Maya Hair From Curves. Then apply Create FXHair From Maya Hair to convert it.

Select the curves and the base object >> Convert >> Create Maya Hair From Curves
