|This function is for assigning different material values to each cloth patch when panels created with Maya NURBS curves are combined into a single piece of clothing using Seam.
Taking a shirt for example, torso, collar, and cuffs should have different material characteristics.
In this case, you can select each cloth patch's pattern gizmo and apply Create Material to assigne different materials.
